English Knowledge competition "My English"

On 14th of April, a final round has been conducted. It was organised in a form of a quiz with a native speaker on general knowledge testing English speaking skills. Kids were asked different questions on various topics, such as geography, biology, history and, of course, English. All answers should have been given only in the English language, and that was the main challenge for students. Total atmosphere was pleasant and conducive, though tasks were quite difficult. At the end of this round, we selected the winner and allocated second and third places. The student who got the biggest quantity of points got a special prize - free participation in summer camp, organised by the LF School. All kids were invited to a Master-class with the native speaker. 

And finally, we proudly announce our Master class with English native speaker, conducted as a final event of our competition on 17th, April​​​​​​​ 2017. All winners from all grades were invited to take part in this event. The master-class was organised in a form of discussion. Kids were given some provocative topics to think about. And after a small pause, they were encouraged to present their views and opinions as well as their substantiation. All participants expressed their own opinions as well as listened to others. 
So, the most exciting part of the whole contest, an award ceremony with prizes and snacks, was held right after the Masterclass. At the end of the event, all possessors of the highest scores were awarded the main prize – an invitation to the summer city camp, conducted by LF School. And moreover, all participants were awarded books in the English language from our this year partner bookstore Brittania. 

It was very pleasant to see winners from the previous year. That means that they have retained and increased greatly their knowledge. But more exciting was to get acquainted with newcomers. That means that they have outranked their classmates this time.
